Leazes Park is Newcastle upon Tyne's oldest public park, opened in 1873. It offers a large lake, mature woodlands, and a children's playground. Families can enjoy the following: Lake with ducks and swans Play area with swings, slides, and climbing frames Tennis courts and a bowling green Open lawns for picnics and ball games Café and toilet facilities
