Matlock Farm Park is a fantastic family-friendly attraction set in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside. It offers hands-on animal experiences including bottle-feeding lambs, cuddling guinea pigs, and meeting goats, pigs, alpacas, and more. Kids will love the indoor and outdoor play areas: Indoor Play Barn with soft play, ball pits, and slides for toddlers and older kids. Outdoor Adventure Playground with climbing frames, swings, and a giant slide. Tractor rides around the farm. Pony rides (seasonal).
The farm also has a café serving hot meals, snacks, and ice cream, plus picnic areas. It's ideal for children aged 1–12 years, with plenty of shady spots for hot days. The site is pushchair-friendly with accessible paths. For the best experience, plan at least 3–4 hours.
