Milton Country Park offers 45 acres of lakes, woodlands, and meadows for families to explore. The main attraction is the large adventure playground, which includes climbing frames, swings, slides, and a zip wire, suitable for children of all ages. There are also easy walking trails around the lakes, perfect for buggies, and plenty of picnic spots. Seasonal events: pond dipping, nature trails, and family fun days. Facilities: visitor centre with cafe, toilets with baby changing, and ample parking (pay and display). Wildlife: birds, squirrels, and occasionally deer; bring binoculars for bird watching.
Practical tip: wear wellies after rain as paths can get muddy. The park is flat and pram-friendly, with a well-surfaced main path.
