Newport Sands (Newport Beach)
An outdoor seaside-attractions in Pembrokeshire

Newport Sands, also known as Newport Beach, is a wide, sandy beach on the Pembrokeshire coast in Wales. It's a Blue Flag beach with gentle slopes and safe swimming waters, making it ideal for families. Lifeguards patrol during summer, and the backdrop of dunes and the Preseli Hills adds to its charm. Highlights: Soft golden sand, rock pools at low tide, and scenic coastal walks. Kids can build sandcastles, paddle, and explore the dunes. Facilities: Large pay-and-display car park, public toilets, seasonal café, and a lifeguard station. Nearby Newport town offers shops and eateries. Ages: Suitable for all ages; toddlers enjoy the shallow water, and older kids can play beach games or bodyboard with care. Tips: Arrive early in peak season to secure parking. Check tide times for rock pooling. Dogs are welcome on most of the beach but with seasonal restrictions near the lifeguard area.
