Families can explore wooded paths, open lawns, and a serene lake. The garden is hilly, so pushchairs may be challenging, but older children will enjoy the sense of adventure. Highlights include the bridge, grotto, and Gothic temple. Facilities: car park (pay & display), National Trust shop, and tea-room with outdoor seating. Toilets available on site. No dedicated playground but plenty of space to run. Dogs welcome on leads. Best for ages 5+ due to steep paths; younger children can be carried in a baby carrier.
