Titanic Belfast
A great rainy-day museum in County Antrim

Titanic Belfast is a world-leading visitor attraction located in the heart of Belfast, Northern Ireland, on the very site where the RMS Titanic was built. It tells the story of the Titanic from her conception in Belfast in the early 1900s, through her construction and launch, to her famous maiden voyage and tragic end. The experience is spread over nine interactive galleries, featuring full-scale reconstructions, special effects, and real artifacts. Highlights for kids: a dark ride that takes you through the shipyard, a gentle drop ride simulating the sinking, interactive touchscreens, and a huge 3D model of the ship. The gallery 'The Sinking' uses holograms and projections to show the timeline. Facilities: baby-changing, buggy park, high chairs in the cafe, and a children's menu at the Bistro. The exhibition is pushchair-friendly. There are activity trails for children. Practical tips: Allow 2-3 hours. Book online in advance to avoid queues. Free parking on site. The gift shop has Titanic-themed toys and books. Best for ages 5 and up, but younger children may enjoy the lights and sounds.
