Tollymore Forest Park

Tollymore Forest Park is a stunning 630-hectare forest located at the foot of the Mourne Mountains in County Down, Northern Ireland. It offers a network of waymarked trails along the Shimna River, crossing many picturesque bridges including the famous Tollymore Bridge. Families will love the varied scenery: towering conifers, rhododendron groves, and open heathland. Highlights for kids: The river with shallow pools for paddling, magical wooded areas for hide-and-seek, and the historic stone arch bridge. There's also a small playground near the car park.
