Tralee Bay Wetlands Eco & Activity Centre is an award-winning family attraction in County Kerry, Ireland. It combines an indoor interactive eco-zone with extensive outdoor boardwalks, bird hides, and a natural playground. Indoor Activity Centre: Hands-on exhibits about wetland wildlife, a soft play area, and a café with panoramic views. Outdoor Boardwalk: A 1.5km loop through reedbeds and marshes, suitable for buggies and wheelchairs, with opportunities to spot birds, otters, and dragonflies. Nature Playground: Wooden climbing frames, slides, and a sand pit set in a natural woodland. Boat Tours (seasonal): Guided trips on the canal to see the wetlands from the water.
Best for families with children aged 2–12, but all ages welcome. Facilities include free parking, baby-changing, and bike hire. Warm clothing and waterproofs recommended for outdoor areas. The centre is fully accessible and offers family-friendly pricing with a family ticket (2 adults + 2 children) at €22.
