Benbulben Forest Walk
An outdoor nature-reserve in Sligo

A gentle, family-friendly loop trail through a conifer forest at the base of the iconic Benbulben mountain in County Sligo. The walk is well-maintained, relatively flat, and takes about 1 hour to complete, with lovely views of the mountain and surrounding countryside. Suitable for all ages: pushchairs can manage the main path, though some sections may be bumpy. Facilities: small car park, picnic tables, information boards. No toilets or café on site (nearest pub in Drumcliff village). Best in dry weather as the path can be muddy after rain. Dogs on leads welcome. Combine with a visit to nearby Drumcliff churchyard (W.B. Yeats' grave) or the coast at Mullaghmore.
