A subtropical valley garden with a playful Giant's Staircase and a beautiful maze that kids love. Highlights include the winding paths down to the Helford River, a small beach, and the spectacular views. Giant's Staircase: a steep, fun descent with huge stone steps. Maze: a laurel hedge maze perfect for children to explore. Beach: at the bottom, kids can paddle and explore rock pools. Facilities: café, shop, baby-changing, accessible paths (some steep).
Best for ages 3–12, but enjoyable for all. Allow 2–3 hours. Note: lots of steps and slopes; strollers not ideal.
