Trebah Garden is a stunning 26-acre sub-tropical valley garden on the Helford River in Cornwall, renowned for its exotic plants, hydrangeas, and a private beach. It's a paradise for families with children of all ages, offering a mix of natural beauty and dedicated kid-friendly activities. Play Areas: Wooden play 'ark' with slides, swings, and climbing frames; a giant swing; and a natural play trail through the woods. The Beach: A small sandy cove with a stream for paddling and crabbing (bring a net!). Maze and Trails: A gentle maze, plus winding paths with hidden sculptures and a dino dig. Facilities: Café serving kids meals and picnic options, baby changing, buggy-friendly paths (note: some steep sections but manageable).

Rainy day alternative: not ideal as mostly outdoors, but the garden has covered seating and a plant nursery with indoor areas. Best on a sunny day to enjoy the beach and gardens. Recommended for ages 0–12, but teens also enjoy the scenery and beach.
