The Suir Blueway is a scenic 53km water trail along the River Suir in Counties Tipperary and Waterford, Ireland. It offers a gentle paddling experience suitable for families with children aged 5 and up. Highlights include: Canoeing or kayaking through tranquil countryside and past historic castles Wildlife spotting (swans, herons, otters) Several access points with parking and picnic areas The Blueway is well signposted and includes optional short loops for beginners Facilities: canoe hire available at multiple points (booking advised), public toilets at key access points, nearby playgrounds in Carrick-on-Suir and Clonmel. The water is calm, and life jackets are provided with rentals. Best on calm, dry days. Not recommended for very young children or non-swimmers.
