Explore heritage buildings and courtyards at Tai Kwun, then choose an exhibition that suits your children’s interests. The former Central Police Station compound gives older children a setting for questions about the city’s past alongside contemporary art.

The site is free to visit, but particular exhibitions and programmes may charge. The heritage galleries and contemporary-art building open later than the grounds, so plan around the spaces you actually want to see.
