Ride the steep funicular from Central towards The Peak and watch the city change below you. The journey itself is the attraction for children who enjoy unusual transport, with the uphill perspective making even familiar buildings look different.
Start at the Central Terminus on Garden Road. Allow extra time beyond the short tram ride for queues and any activities you choose at the top; viewing platforms and other attractions can have separate entry arrangements.
