Tipperary Town Library

The library runs regular children's activities including Preschool Story-time every Wednesday at 12:30 and Toddler Story-time every Friday at 10:30. There's also a wonderful sensory area with bubbling light towers, mirrors, soft furnishings, and a selection of sensory toys and resources available for all visitors. The library provides assistive technologies and hosts author visits, creative workshops, and seasonal events throughout the year.

A standout feature is the My Open Library service, which gives members self-service access from 8am to 10pm, seven days a week, 365 days a year. During unstaffed hours, members can still borrow and return books, use computers and WiFi, print documents, and use study spaces. The library is part of a countywide service that prides itself on being inclusive and accessible to families, students, and people with disabilities.
